55 Flash Fiction Friday: Shocked

I sat there listening to the person I thought was my friend. He spewed anger at me and I took it all. I deserved everything he said and more. I let him talk until he said the one thing that shocked me. "What do you mean 'you weren't there' and don't know if it happened?!"

    Gritted teeth. Clenched jaw. Pounding away at my keyboard with my fists, just wrapping my mind around it.
